What is it called when you do a show where it's just like, a bunch of people presenting one composer's music? For example, our theatre troupe performed an hour-long show of music by Stephen Schwartz. what is that called?

this is a musical revue, and yes, I spelled that correctly; it's "revue," not "review." Some are really good -- "Red Hot and Cole," "Side by Side by Sondheim," "Some Enchanted Evening," and some aren't. It's fairly easy to create one of your own, but don't be deceived like a college edirector of mine into thinking that it's something that can be done quickly and with very little rehearsal.
