Jericho Cancelled ??? WHY???

Im shocked... and cannot believe CBS would cancel Jericho. This has got to be the dumbest move ever made by CBS executives. I honestly have nothing more to say but wow. I would go into detail but I would just be another person stating my two cents that means nothing to CBS. So with that being said I will try my best to stay away from all CBS shows for a while (never was a fan till Jericho anyways). What do you guys all think? I saw that their excuse was they werent performing well, ofcourse, when you give the show a hiatous to stick some of your typical CBS no good shows to gain market share that do nothing and bring back the show expecting it to be as big and bigger.... Just big mistakes all around. nuff said... comments anyone?? I would say some things like buy the dvd support it and try and bring it back but who wants to support networks constant bad decision making let them suffer the losses.

Jericho Cancelled ??? WHY???opera score

Its time for the fans of Jericho to rally and save a really good show.

Jericho is one of the best new shows in a long time. It is one of the few shows on television that our whole family made an effort to get together and watch. It has a very good cast playing very good characters and an exciting story line that keeps you on the edge of your seat. CBS has made a huge mistake by not renewing Jericho. Hopefully CBS will reconsider. If not another network should have the insight to pick up this wonderful show.

Spread the word and lets save Jericho.

I heard that they weren't canceling the show but that they were moving it to another network
i loved that show. i couldnt believe it either. but no fear, there gonna have BIG BROTHER ON AGAIN. i mean really, who makes those decisions anyway? a 13 year old kid? it was intellegent, and thought provoking. i really want to call someone and ask those questions, but, no one wants to listen to a 36 yo stay at home mom, with a master degree and thats a professional chef. they would rather go for the fluff crapola. anyway, baffles mymind.
i m sorry to letterman but im boycotting the network and sending Nuts to

Way to go CBS! You just got rid of your 1 piece of programming that's actually worth a damn. God forbid we cancel one of the 14 CSI shows to make room for a decent show with a plot. CSI, CSI Miami, CSI NY, NCIS, Criminal Minds, Big Breast Whis.......I mean Ghost Whisperer. They recycle the exact same garbage over and over to try to capitalize off of one decent show, the original CSI. Who works at these networks, monkeys?
I for one cannot understand why CBS made this move. I think it was a well written and very well acted show and honestly it was my favorite. For those of you who were not fans.....(either watched one show or none at all) if you are curious about all the comotion go to cbs.com and watch Jericho for yourself. even if you don't want to see it i hope that you will consider joining us in our efforts to have CBS reconsider their decision. When you are a loyal watcher of a tv show and the network decides with no warning that it is going to cancel the show without giving the viewers any type of conclusion or ending.....for thoes of you who aren't familiar with the show it ended with the start of a war...a gunshot being fired and that's it....it was hard enough having to wait until next season to find out what happened....and now CBS tells us it's done.... over... finished.... basically ...sorry that you wasted hours upon hours of your life to see a story unfold....and not now we just aren't going to have an ending!!! i am sorry but ANY viewer of ANY quality tv show should have a problem with this ... what if that happened to your favorite show......we have to let the networks know that it is not ok to treat loyal viewers this way..........if they really feel that the viewers just don't matter.....then that is a problem for all of us!!!! Please call CBS....email them and if you can send the peanuts.....we the tv viewing public must join together so we show the networks that they need to listen to what we want to see...not just what they want to show.....please just give it some thought!!
I know. It bites. Especially not even being decent enough to at least air the season finale so we could have an ending (the producers of the show have said that they had made the last episode a good wrap up in case they weren't picked up for a second season). Gilmour Girls was brought back when fans protested, so you never know, but you have to remember that every show has some fans, so the networks are used to this type of complaint. It will take an enormous groundswell of support for Jericho to bring it back. I just think they were stupid to put it up against the monolith of American Idol -- no new show can compete with Idol. I think that under the circumstances, Jericho attracted a respectable audience, and who knows -- had they put it in a different time slot, maybe the show would have done great things. I certainly won't be watching the replacement drivel -- a pirate ship? Come on. Jericho and Desperate Housewives were my only "appointment tv shows" (guaranteed to make a point of watching all episodes, schedule it into my week), and Desperate Housewives is getting a little tired. I miss Jericho already... :(

The show had like 6 viewers. You make 7. They had to cancel it.
They didn't do a very good job of portraying Western Kansas. They didn't act like a Kansan or Midwesterner would in a tragic situation. Compare the histrionics shown on Jericho to the survivors of the Greensburg tornado. They didn't cry much and with little drama, they started rebuilding. I am not surprised it is canceled.
